I got a cheap USB capture device, so I went ahead and replaced the placeholder image for Legend of Dragoon back in the December 2016 quickies. I've also got the quickies for March and April 2017.

Very minor update today. A year ago I put some ads on Nightshade Insanity, which expired yesterday. I went ahead and updated it to the new layout while I was reverting the text, although something tells me the page itself could stand to be edited.
Out of sheer coincidence, Jim Sterling posted this video about "SEO Juice" on Monday, which made me feel embarassed because the "ads" I'd been running were revised sentences with a few links, just like the description of sponsored content, and I didn't realize before that was a problem. As such, I'm no longer accepting ads for this site, and updated my About page accordingly.

December quickies. Sorry for not having 2016 in Review yet, it's been slow writing in between getting sick with fear and anger at all the stupid shit that's been going on (with the added bonus of December containing a RiffTrax film I couldn't write anything about). But might as well do something to distract myself from the awfulness of the world.

Yeah, still wasting too much of my time on World of Warcraft. But now that I'm at level 110 and there aren't any major events happening, I can wind back on my play time. And hey, I finally got the "Crazy for Cats" achievement and my Tauren gets to be a Crazy Cat Man!
